Hi, I’m Isabel Castanon, MS, LPC, NCC

I believe therapy should feel like an exhale, a soft place to land. A moment in your week to pause, breathe deeply, and finally feel safe being fully yourself.

As a first-generation Latina therapist rooted in the El Paso community, I offer a culturally responsive, trauma-informed approach that honors your lived experience. I founded Desert Bloom Behavioral Health Services after witnessing too many women silently carrying the weight of grief, trauma, and emotional pain. You deserve more than just getting by. You deserve to feel supported, understood, and empowered.

As a certified grief educator, I specialize in therapy for grief and loss, helping women navigate life after loss with compassion, clarity, and care. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to do it alone.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in client-centered care and existentialism, blending empathy and understanding with a focus on exploring meaning, purpose, and self-discovery. I believe in creating a safe and welcoming space where clients feel truly heard and supported.

Supervision for LPC-Associates Across Texas

Hi, I’m Richard Salcido, MS, LPC-Supervisor

Supervision is more than a requirement—it's a relationship built on trust, encouragement, and thoughtful guidance. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your clinical work, ask questions without judgment, and develop your own identity as a therapist. I believe in a collaborative process grounded in compassion, transparency, and professional integrity.

My background includes work in community mental health, private practice, and crisis intervention. This breadth of experience allows me to support supervisees working with a wide range of populations and clinical concerns, from trauma and mood disorders to ethical decision-making and self-care.

Whether you're just starting your journey as an LPC-Associate or looking for a seasoned supervisor to help you navigate the complexities of clinical practice, I’m here to walk with you each step of the way.
